Probably the only authentic hand written Stan Laurel signed letter, which you will find for sale anywhere today! Stan Laurel used a typewriter for most correspondence to fans, and it is exceptionally rare to have one written by hand.

Stan Laurel is to many, one of the funniest comedy actors in film history. Laurel was an English comic actor, writer, and film director who was part of the comedy duo Laurel and Hardy. He appeared with his comedy partner Oliver Hardy in 107 short films, and feature films. This lovely letter, was posted to a fan 22nd March 1954, from their hotel in York, England, during their last Laurel and Hardy stage show tour. The Royal Station Hotel York, still exists today, (now called Royal York Hotel).

This was the last year they performed together. Professionally matted (to preserve and protect the item), and is already framed, ready to hang. Size : 17" x 14" (44cm x 35cm) approx inc frame.
