Offered for your consideration and viewing pleasure. Louis Cardinals Hand Made Busch Memorial Stadium replica model signed by some of the best Cardinals to ever play the game.
Model is of the old Busch Stadium built in 1966. Model is made of mostly white pine and stained with dark walnut.This model was made in 1986 by a company named Acecorp, Inc. This was my company that built several other baseball stadiums to offer to the public.
The other stadiums included Wrigley Field, Sportsman's Park, Boston's Fenway Park and Busch Memorial Stadium. Only a handful of the above mentioned were produced. Of the Busch stadiums only 3 were produced. 2 like the one offered here, which I have, and 1 that was made into a game that you used magnets with.I still have this one also. So there are no other Busch stadiums available like this anywhere.

Autographs on model: All signed in sharpie. All autographs were acquired In Person! Willie McGee (Acquired his autograph on his birthday). Mike Shannon (Was a hard one to get for some reason). Tim McCarver (Another hard one) Recipient of the 2012 Ford C.
Inducted into the Irish American Baseball Hall of Fame. Bruce Sutter (HOF) Just added. Inducted into the American Sportscasters Association Hall of Fame in 1990. Description : Measures 20"x 20" on base. 19"x 19" actual model. A nice size for displaying.The model measures 4" in height, 5" in total height on base. Inside of stadium with the signatures measure approx. Inside base has been painted and striped with outfield measurements. Bleacher seating was made with stick-on decals.
The Arch measures 7" in height, 7 3/4" in width across base and is 3/4 in thickness. It was a wonderful experience to make this model but I wouldn't want to try and duplicate it now. It was very hard to do so. To start from scratch would be a headache I wouldn't want to inflict on anybody.
But it was well worth it. In 1986 after I completed this model I got the idea of having it signed by the best of the Cardinals I could get.
I've passed up many chances of it being signed by former Cardinals due to these players being basically a stop off from one team to another. I tried to get franchise players and the best players. Some I let slip by. Of course some I couldn't get due to them being deceased.
Since then some of the players that I acquired have passed away. Making this model even more desirable.
A few years passed and my son began to become more sports affiliated and of course a Cardinal fan. Over the last 20+ years we have been together acquiring these autographs. To say the least, we have enjoyed our time and passion together regarding this Cardinal memorabilia. Now at this time of posting my brave and wonderful son is now serving this and our great country in the Navy as an Aviation Electronics Specialist. " Just made Chief " after 10 years of service. Since 9/11 he had a calling to serve but had to wait a few years to do so.We are very proud of him and the sacrifice he has given to all. I have basically listed this item for the St. To look at and to enjoy and to see what can be done with a little perseverance.
Perhaps some of you have seen me in St. Louis and other cities on several occasions acquiring these autographs.
I like to thank each and everyone of you for being so gracious and inquiring when you wanted to take a look at it. It did give me some "you might say" reverence to view it. Again, it is listed for viewing. But, if somebody were willing to pay the price for this piece of history, my son and I will let it go to somebody else to love and cherish.
