SCARCE ORIGINAL HAND-WRITTEN LETTER FROM'THE FIRST LADY OF HOLLYWOOD. ; CHRISTY George, charismatic fedora-wearing American columnist, of proud Greek origins, who wrote the weekly gossip piece.

In The Hollywood Reporter for 26 years, and who was widely liked by the stars and wider artistic fraternity in California. Original hand-written and signed letter from American actress Irene Dunne, with original addressed envelope, to Hollywood correspondent George Christy, dated 1977. Original h/written letter, written in blue ink on one side of a sheet of cream-colored writing paper, with correspondent's name printed at head of sheet'Irene Dunne'. Addressed to'Dear George', and in its original envelope, also h/written by Dunne, postmarked Aug 1977, and with her Los Angeles address printed on the rear. Size: page - 26.5cm x 18.5cm.
