Steve Ditko hand written and signed letter. Strange and co-created Spiderman and virtually all of his greatest villains!! Octopus, Electro, Sandman, Rhino, Kraven and many more! Almost on par with JD Sallinger. Ditko avoided the spotlight and refused interviews due to his beliefs.

He was a believer in Ayn Rand's objectivism. When it comes to rare, this is as rare as it gets for autographs and collectibles!!! Ditko had a falling out with Lee which caused him to leave Marvel.

Lee was all about salesmanship, Ditko wasnt. Ditko didn't attend cons and the ONLY autographs from him you will find will be on his original pages which cost 10s of thousands or on his letters of correspondence. And that was before Mr.

Comic fans and collectors don't often put these unique and special items up for sale.. You dont see McFarlane, Miller, Ditko etc pages for sale often, why? Because they are kept for years by collectors who know the value! This is a two page letter! Not a simple one line or paragraph response. Ditko several times over the years.

I often would write to him discussing life, politics, philosophy and a variety of other things. This letter gives amazing insight into Steve and who he was and why he was that way. Two FULL PAGES of correspondence signed by arguably one of the greatest comic creators ever! You don't want to miss out on a chance to own this.

Each page will be in a rigid plastic sleeve then sandwiched between MASONITE board, foam core and sealed inside a Mylar bag as well as other padding! There are 2 creases through each page of the letter from him folding it to fit into the return envelope.
